Shana Tova
The past year has been one of the most difficult in Israel's history, but through the darkness, they have seen light.
The people of Israel have shown the true meaning of resilience and hope.
My Jewish brothers and sisters have shown what kindness, solidarity, and unity are in the face of unimaginable challenges.
Things aren’t easy right now, but I pray for a year of healing, recovery, growth, safety and peace.
I pray for the return of all hostages who have been held in Gaza for nearly a year.
I pray for the bereaved Israeli families who have lost their loved ones and whose hearts are broken.
And I pray for the brave men and women in uniform who protect their homeland day and night.
This year, "Shana Tova" carries a different meaning. It’s not just a greeting—it’s a heartfelt prayer.
Wishing the Jewish people a happy and sweet new year.
