Too many Florida Republicans have forgotten what Florida was like before Governor Ron DeSantis.  Before DeSantis:  1) Florida was a purple state.  2) Florida had more registered Democrats than Republicans.  3) Illegal aliens had in-state tuition.  4) Florida was a sanctuary state.  5) Common Core was the curriculum in schools.  6) We didn't have universal school choice. 7) Illegal aliens were allowed to practice law in Florida.  8) Local and state law enforcement were not mandated to work with the feds to catch and deport illegal aliens.  9) We didn't have a huge reserve in our state budget.  10) Wokeness was part of Florida's institutions.  And so much more. Under governor DeSantis's leadership, Florida became a beacon of freedom and conservatism.
