Holy Week

I get told quite often that some people believe they aren’t religious, and get mocked for following Christ. 

The problem with thinking this way, is that everyone is religious, whether you believe you are or not.

Our actions have morality behind them. Some are good, and some are evil. Giving your grandma a hug and wishing her a happy birthday is morally better than kicking her in the shin and telling her she’s a racist fascist.  

If you believe in good and evil, then you’re religious. In Christianity, the ultimate good, is represented as Jesus Christ, the ultimate evil, Satan. Every action you take falls in between the ultimate good and ultimate evil.

When you think you don’t worship a god, you are wrong. You just have an unspecified god and your actions have an unspecified and ever changing set of values underneath them. 

A family member of mine had gone to a rave, where everyone was dancing and all facing the big screen. I saw a video of what they were watching, it was a representation of Satan. That is a form of worship. You paid money to dance at the feet of a representation of Satan. It’s the same as me going to church, and singing along to the church music. Except my God is specified. My actions have a solid moral foundation from ancient text that had been preserved for thousands of years. The rave goers actions are determined by impulsive pleasure seeking, as they blindly believe they’re doing good, and it’s "fiiiiine", all they’re doing is having fun.  

When you don’t know what god you’re worshipping, you are likely to be tricked into doing the bidding of evil and demonic forces.

This is why the church of Satan is fighting for abortions. This is why promiscuity leads to you killing your child through abortion. This is why gender affirming care is targeting children, to sterilize them, to mutilate them, and to effectively end their bloodline. 

God is real, and he loves you. The devil is also real, and he’s extremely talented at pretending to love you. 

Everyone is religious, it just depends on what god you worship. Be mindful of who you follow and who is leading your actions.
