Today marks the third year since a suicide bomber took the lives of thirteen U.S. service members at Abbey Gate.  The lack of leadership during and accountability for the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal is a lasting stain on our nation. Still, we must never forget the sacrifice of those killed in action that day and we honor all those who served honorably in the Afghanistan theater over many years following the 9/11 attacks.
